Yeah, I know that Sheck said this isn’t happening this festival, but it’s something I’d really like to see, possibly for future festivals, if they happen. they should probably be very rare, even harder to get then the accessories, but still possible.

Actually there are two weapons that can drop. If you’re curious, check Kranodor’s spoiler thread.
edit: Although, maybe what you meant was weapons with new skills. The two weapons that drop have normal skills on them. The festival skills are meant to bring a challenge by being NPC-only.

I meant weapons with the new skills.
and I understand the festival skills being a challenge, but I’d still like to have a chance to get them.

They’re foes-only, like biting/clawing. All their skills are supposed to be used by creatures made up of victuals/produce – or turkeys. They aren’t well-described, either, and poorly balanced.
The Turkeys, for example, have a skill that they use at 50% health or less (only! players would be able to use it always) it costs about 5 AP, stays on for 10 turns, and grants a lot of additional AP per turn.
Those skills were never meant to be used by players – or regular foes, either.
The point is, pretty much, that the AI is pretty stupid – it only has very basic checks to select what it does. While an update is on Shecks to-do list, the AI will always be predictable and, if standing on equal terms with a player, not a challenge. That’s why we need some special stuff they can use to balance it out – and to make, quite honestly, the enemies a bit more diverse.
